Portsmouth Job and Resource Fair to be Held September 24th!

Concord - New Hampshire Employment Security is collaborating with Great Bay Community College to host the Portsmouth Job & Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Great Bay Community College located at 32 Corporate Drive Portsmouth NH 03801 from Noon to 4:00 PM in the gymnasium.

Whether job seekers are looking to re-enter the workforce or make a career change, they will have an opportunity to meet and interface with countless key decision-makers with numerous employment prospects at the Portsmouth Job and Resource Fair. Those interested in expanding their network with valuable new contacts and meet recruiters from a diverse variety of private, government and public-sector employers, all eager to hire for full- and part-time positions ranging from entry-level to executive-level positions are encouraged to participate in this networking and hiring event. A full list of participating employers can be found at www.nhes.nh.gov and will be available on the day of the event. This great hiring event is free and open to all job seekers.

Executive Councilor Russell Prescott said, “This is a great opportunity for employers - it gets potential employees face to face in a short period of time. However, most importantly, this job fair is for job seekers - this is an occasion to find hope and opportunity in a much quicker more personal fashion.

"The Portsmouth Job & Resource Fair will bring together local businesses looking to hire and job seekers looking for that next great employment or career opportunity. By helping to make these connections we are assisting businesses with their hiring needs while also assisting the citizens in the community secure employment close to home," said New Hampshire Employment Security Commissioner George Copadis.

If you are unable to attend the Portsmouth Job & Resource Fair, you are always able to access free job and career services through New Hampshire Employment Security at any one of the twelve NH WORKS centers located throughout the state. The NH WORKS centers provide free resources and services to assist both job seekers and employers with the entire job search and hiring process.
