PPE Delivery Aboard Largest Cargo Flight in MHT History

Concord, NH - Tomorrow, Governor Chris Sununu, Dean Kamen, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) officials, state officials, Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun, and CVS Caremark President Alan Lotvin will greet and unload a Boeing 777-200 - the largest cargo flight operation in Manchester-Boston Regional Airport history - carrying Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) bound for VA hospitals across the country.

The FedEx charter flight is scheduled to depart Anchorage, Alaska at 3:35 AM local time after passing through United States Customs, and is due to arrive at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport at 9:39 AM.

An updated advisory will be sent should the plane be delayed substantially.

This is the eighth flight secured by the State of New Hampshire on behalf of the VA, with the help of inventor Dean Kamen and others, to have landed at the Manchester Boston-Regional Airport. It is the fifteenth FedEx charter flight with PPE delivered to New Hampshire.

The 450,000 gowns aboard the flight will be be distributed to the areas of greatest need across the state and country. The VA will reimburse the State of New Hampshire for the gowns delivered.
